The Food Interview…Why Your Dietitian Should Be Asking These Questions

What a loaded question that is! Most people will respond either “Sure, everyone has pain,” or “Of course, I’m old!” or “No, I don’t have any pain” as they limp away!

The truth is that most of us have simply accepted the presence of pain in our lives. We reconcile ourselves to this falsehood with some version of one of the three answers listed above.

A Real Solution?
So, if the truth is that most people have pain, then the second question is, what have you done about it, or what options are available? You might be problem-aware but not solution-aware. You know you have a problem, even if you don’t know what the solution is.

Most people would say one of these answers: take a pill for pain, have an injection, go to physical therapy, see a chiropractor, or have surgery. That is called being solution aware. You know what the problem is, and now you think you have a solution.

What if there is a solution that you don’t know about? What if this option addresses the source of the pain, rather than the symptom? What if this solution is drug-free, noninvasive, and requires no participation on your part other than to show up for your appointment?

Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, this solution exists. It is called Robotic Precision Therapy, and it is available in Southwest Florida exclusively through Naples Robotic Pain Relief.

Robotic Precision Therapy
What is it, and does it work? Like most new things we encounter, we are naturally skeptical. Some clients call Robotic Precision Therapy a massage on steroids. The process utilizes an FDA-approved Class 2 medical device. What is most important is that this technology delivers amazing results based on the science of applying rhythmic pressure, vibration, and heat directly to the affected muscle.

This process not only releases a contracted muscle, but it can also lengthen the muscle fibers back to their original state. The secret is precise pressure, precise placement of the device in the muscle, and precise duration of time. This combination, along with the vibration and heat, creates the ideal treatment for eliminating or significantly relieving your pain.

All muscles connect to a bone, tendon, joint, or the spine. Tight large muscles can affect the nerves, the spine, and the joints of the body. The benefit of this process is that by releasing and lengthening the muscle, pressure and tension are relieved from the affected joint, bone, spine, or nerve that is impinged. When this happens, joint dysfunction is alleviated, the joint moves properly, the compression is taken off the spine, and smaller muscles are allowed to function properly.

With over 640 muscles in the body, this system is an often overlooked area of the body. Unfortunately, doctors don’t specialize in muscles. Chiropractors adjust the skeletal structure but not the muscles. Physical therapists and massage therapists can release the small muscles, but not the large muscles, which can cause the problem. Robotic Therapy is revolutionary, precisely targeting the source of the problem, the large muscles, and releasing them, taking pressure off the bone structure and allowing the small muscles (often the source of the pain) to relax.

There has never been enough emphasis placed on the role large muscles of the body play in the proper daily movement of our lives. This therapy corrects imbalances, making any future therapies more effective.

Let’s talk surgery. Some clients don’t need surgery after they see us. Maybe you know for sure that you need surgery. Releasing the large muscles before surgery can create better outcomes. Correcting muscle imbalances can even lead to pain relief while you wait for surgery. Robotic Muscle Therapy can also facilitate faster and more complete recovery after surgery, resulting in reduced pain, improved range of motion, and better overall outcomes.

The remaining questions are, does it hurt, and does it involve being sold an expensive package? The answers are no and no. We keep you comfortable while gently increasing the pressure as the muscle releases. The answer to packages is also no. Our goal is to identify the root cause of the problem and correct it. We expect this treatment to provide long-term relief. The number of visits required depends on individual circumstances. But the goal remains focusing on the removal of pain in as few visits as required. Most clients see relief in three to six sessions. Some experience some relief after the first session or two.

Whether it’s sciatica, hip pain, shoulder issues, back pain, neck pain, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, or tennis elbow, this technology is providing lasting relief to hundreds of residents in Southwest Florida. Don’t wait to try this revolutionary therapy; it may be the solution you’ve been looking for.

We offer a complimentary consultation so clients can learn more about this revolutionary technology. We learn about your condition, and you discover whether this therapy can help you.
