Four years ago, my husband Garrett and I brought something new to Naples, a robotic approach to muscle therapy we believed in because we had experienced the results firsthand. Now, we’re excited to share that we’re growing. We’ve moved into a larger space and added a second RX2600 Therapeutic Robot, which means more appointment availability and shorter wait times for the Southwest Florida community we love serving.
For golfers, tennis and pickleball players, as well as other active adults who make up so much of Naples, we know you don’t want to be slowed by pain.
Why We Brought Robotics to SWFL
We relocated from Michigan to Naples in 2020, already knowing what robotic muscle therapy could do. In 2018, during a club championship tournament, Garrett injured his shoulder while trying to outdrive a competitor half his age. What started as a competitive moment became two years of persistent shoulder pain that nothing seemed to resolve. (And for the golfers out there: yes, he won!) I had been using robotic therapy and convinced him to try it. After just three sessions, he was completely pain-free (and the pain has never returned!).
As a Certified Health Coach with years of experience helping people live healthier lives, I was impressed. I became certified as a neuromuscular therapist in Robotic Precision Therapy to help more people experience this technology. We opened Naples Robotic Pain Relief in June 2022 and have been helping our clients reclaim pain-free movement ever since.
With growing demand for noninvasive, drug-free relief from sciatica, low back pain, shoulder and hip pain, and other chronic conditions, we knew it was time to expand. Our new location provides room for a second RX2600 machine and offers our patients throughout Collier and southern Lee counties, including Estero, Bonita Springs, and Marco Island, more flexible scheduling, without compromising the individualized care we’ve built our practice around.
A Different Approach to Pain Relief: Treating the Source, Not Just the Symptom
So many of our clients have spent years treating symptoms of back pain, sciatica, neck and shoulder tension, hip or knee pain, plantar fasciitis, or carpal tunnel syndrome without ever getting to the root of the problem. That’s where our approach is different; we don’t just treat where it hurts; we look for what’s actually causing it.
So often, the real source of someone’s pain isn’t where they feel it. The psoas, for example, is one of the most overlooked muscles in the body, deep in the core, connecting the spine to the legs. When it’s tight, it’s often the hidden driver of chronic low back pain.
The pectoral muscles are another example. When they’re tight and shortened, as happens to almost all of us over time, they pull the shoulders forward and create upper back tension, neck pain, shoulder dysfunction, and even headaches.
These are deep foundational muscles that most therapies simply can’t reach. Traditional massage and manual therapy work on the surface; the RX2600 can access deeper tissue precisely and consistently, which is a big part of why patients
see the results they do.
This advanced robotic technology measures tissue resistance and pain patterns, then delivers precise, gentle, intermittent pressure with vibration. It relaxes and lengthens tight, contracted muscles, relieving pressure on joints, nerves, and the spine – often yielding faster, longer-lasting results than traditional massage or physical therapy alone. Clients often describe it as “massage on steroids.”
Our goal for every patient isn’t just temporary relief – it’s getting back to the life they love, whether that’s golf, pickleball, walking the beach, or simply moving through the day with more ease. We’ve seen this therapy make a real difference for sciatica and lower back pain, neck and shoulder tension (including sports injuries), tennis elbow, rotator cuff issues, piriformis syndrome, IT band pain, tension headaches, and plantar fasciitis.
One client put it simply: “This therapy is revolutionary. The results are fast and work at a much deeper level than other things I’ve tried.”
No two people move exactly alike, which is why every session begins with an evaluation to understand how the body is actually functioning – not just where it hurts. I personally oversee every session, reviewing each patient’s history and biomechanics to target the muscles that are actually driving their discomfort. Results vary from person to person, but I see real, meaningful improvements in range of motion, posture, and everyday function as treatment progresses.
Bringing this innovative, non-invasive therapy to Southwest Florida has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. Helping people resolve their pain and get back to enjoying life is why I love what I do. With over 25 muscle placements, we can help with most pain conditions. We look forward to helping more people find real relief and move through life with less pain, doing the things they enjoy.
